Police Explorers, Junior Police Academy, and Citizens Police Academy are programs that give Montclair youths and adults who are interested in law enforcement the opportunity to participate in training courses instructed by certified law enforcement officers from the Montclair Police Department, as well as officers from other agencies to learn all about the many different jobs within the Police Department. ​

The youth Basketball Program consists of six traveling teams during basketball season and a non-competitive spring and fall skills development session.

​​Friday Night Activities give youth in grades 2 through 8 the opportunity to participate in supervised youth centered activities while positively engaging with police officers.

The Montclair PAL was established in 1996 and is a not- for- profit- 501 (c) (3) organization. MPAL strives to promote trust, understanding and respect between youth and the police officers. {read more}
